Anu offers individual and couples counselling in Perth, Midland and Online. As a counsellor and psychotherapist, Anu is insightful and kind. She values authenticity and understands that connection and relationship heals. She is known to bring a holistic approach to her practice, and tailors each therapeutic relationship to meet the clients’ unique needs. Anu has worked with people who’ve experienced anxiety, post-traumatic stress, abuse, identity issues and relationship concerns. She is especially passionate about assisting people who have experienced burn out and emotional pain and exhaustion.
Through her sensitive approach she has helped her clients to find balance in all areas of life. Anu draws from her theoretical understanding as well as lived experiences as a migrant to Australia. As a certified Transactional Analysis practitioner, Anu uses ‘TA’ as the main modality in her counselling and integrates Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness to her practice. Katherine has just recently joined our team of counsellors at Breathe and offers sessions in Midland, Perth and Online. She has a rich and unique background in counselling and community services.

Whether Short or Long Term Therapy, Katherine is committed to facilitating Clients on their journey to improved wellbeing and self-discovery. She provides a safe space for Clients to be truly heard alongside the opportunity to reflect on experiences and understand their meaning.

Working with Adults, Adolescents and Children, Katherine takes a Person-Centred approach whilst incorporating theories such as Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfullness. This integrative approach means therapy is provided in line with the needs and wishes of each individual.

A popular choice with younger clients due to her down to earth, relatable approach,  Katherine supports with a range of factors often experienced in adolescence, including; life transitions, school avoidance, identity exploration, parental separation, childhood bereavement and spiritual matters.

Formerly an Outreach Worker and Family Support Service Manager, Katherine has experience in a variety of roles including as a Grief Counsellor, Specialist Suicide Bereavement Counsellor, High School Counsellor and College Counsellor.

Katherine works tentatively alongside Clients- whether it be exploring feelings such as anger, anxiety or depression, navigating grief, looking at relationships or considering how earlier experiences impact life today.

Sue is a person- centred counsellor offering after hours sessions to individuals in the Perth CBD. She has extensive experience and has for 15 years been providing support for individuals as they navigate challenging life experiences and diverse mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss.

Her maturity and life experiences also enable insightful wisdom and knowledge into complex relational challenges in different seasons of life. Sue would describe her style of therapy as integrative. She incorporates various modalities of counselling into her practice such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Counselling and Solution Focused Therapy with a Strength-Based Approach.

Sue believes it is important to establish an environment where clients feel supported and respected for their individuality and uniqueness. Matthew offers counselling services in the Perth CBD and Rockingham. Matthew's natural, sensitive approach lends itself to constructing and holding spaces that allow clients to be reflective in a safe environment, carefully moving at the pace the client sets. Matthew integrates Psychodynamic, Inter-personal, Attachment and Emotionally Focussed (EFT) therapies, creating an approach which allows clients to explore their lives and relationships.

Matthew has spent a portion of his counselling history working with youth at Headspace. He has also had experience working in a host of group environments, including  youth programs, schools, families, projects in the disability sector and with prisoners. She has prior experience supporting individuals, couples, children and families to address diverse needs, including relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, grief and historical trauma.

Mark has engaged in over 20 years of experience in the Not for Profit and Communities sector, 15 years of counselling experience with corporate and pastoral environments.

Mark is an integrative counsellor who uses a mixture of therapy models, including Narrative, Person-Centred and Cognitive Behaviour Therapies (CBT).
