Her maturity and life experiences also enable insightful wisdom and knowledge into complex relational challenges in different seasons of life. Sue would describe her style of therapy as integrative. She incorporates various modalities of counselling into her practice such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Counselling and Solution Focused Therapy with a Strength-Based Approach.

Sue believes it is important to establish an environment where clients feel supported and respected for their individuality and uniqueness. Her empathic and caring nature provides a warm environment where clients feel comfortable to share their struggles and personal concerns. As a therapist Sue values the importance of helping clients make the connection between their own ‘inner’ experience and reality and their ‘outer’ environment. This can be particularly relevant in the healing and restoration of past hurts and trauma. She has a passion for holistic healing integrating the body, mind and spirit in the journey of discovering emotional and psychological wellbeing. Sue has a personal interest in health and fitness and the connection between mental and physical health.
