Kathryn Wee

Kathryn is a qualified counsellor based in Albany, offering appointments on weekdays as well as Saturdays. As a Level 2 member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), Kathryn brings substantial expertise in counselling, case management, and pastoral care. Her professional background spans complex educational settings, not-for-profit organisations, and residential university environments. Kathryn has supported a wide range of clients, including young people, families, neurodiverse individuals, marginalised groups, and those with criminal backgrounds.

Recognising that starting therapy can be daunting, Kathryn’s approach is centred on collaboration and flexibility, working alongside each individual to ensure sessions progress at a comfortable pace and remain focused on their unique needs.

With a creative and approachable style, Kathryn is dedicated to fostering a non-judgemental and safe space for her clients. She practises with a trauma-informed perspective and integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused therapy (EFT) for couples, Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centred Therapy, tailoring her methods to align with each client’s goals.
